Queer Joy Shared is Queer Joy Doubled

Hello my loves!

In a world that often feels heavy and uncertain, carving out space for joy is more than a luxury—it's an act of resistance. Our everyday acts of joy have the power to anchor us in meaning, belonging, and delight.

Last month, I took the (vulnerable feeling) step of sharing my thoughts on queer joy with a broader audience. I hosted 'Queer Joy Live' on Instagram where we talked about what queer joy is, why it matters, and how we can connect to it in small, grounded ways. I invite you to listen to a replay if you missed it.

There's a proverb that says, "a joy shared is a joy doubled." I'm calling on you, personally, to co-create joy and to join me in my joy bubble.  How?

  • Invite some friends over to play a board game.

  • Send a funny video on Instagram to an acquaintance you don't know very well yet.  (Pick me, pick me: @greatbearcoach)

  • Take yourself and co-worker out for an ice cream.
